SpeedFun Ribelle for Specialized Turbo Levo SL, Kenevo SL, Creo SL, Como SL and Vado SL (SL 1.1, SL 1.2 motors)

SpeedFun Ribelle is a tuning for Specialized ebikes with SL 1.1 and SL 1.2 motor that allows you to increase the speed of the ebike by removing the block set at 25 kmH. With SpeedFun Ribelle, active assistance is increased up to speeds that can exceed 60 km/h, making full use of the motor’s potential.

This speed release device is compatible only and exclusively with Specialized SL 1.1 and SL 1.2 motors mounted on Specialized Turbo Levo SL, Kenevo SL, Creo SL, Como SL and Vado SL ebikes and TCU (CTU1), MasterMind TCU (TCU2 ) and MasterMind TCD.

The Ribelle tuning device for Specialized SL ebikes always shows real speeds and distances on the display, if present. It can be activated or deactivated by pressing a simple sequence of keys directly from the ebike handlebar control. Activation and deactivation of the device is signaled on the TCU.

SpeedFun Ribelle is equipped with original connectors thanks to which no physical modification of the ebike is necessary and they do not alter the characteristics of electrical resistance and water tightness.

The tuning kit manipulates the speed signal without altering the motor's power relative to pedaling speed. This guarantees a smooth motor control without speed limit interruptions. Depending on a tuning kit, some determine when assistance stops, while others remove the restriction entirely for continuous support. However, the achievable speed mostly depends on the eBike model. Achievable speed can be calculated using a simple formula:

Speed = Cadence [rpm] * Wheel circumference [mm] * Front Chainring Teeth / Rear Chainring Teeth * 60 [min/h] / 1.000.000 [mm/km]

After installation, your tuning kit will be activated with the activation of your eBike. This tuning kit can be activated / deactivated also, but only by your choice, you do not need to do it everytime you turn on ebike.

A feedback will be briefly displayed on the battery charge level. The charge increases to indicate the high speed setting. Charge drops to indicate speed setting 25 kmH.
The setting mode remains memorized even if the ebike is switched off.

It is possible to carry out this operation even when the bike is not equipped with a remote control on the handlebar. In this case, type the sequence on the top key of the TCU LED: Long press, quick press, long press, quick press.

Feedback will be briefly displayed on the battery charge level. The charge rises to indicate the high speed setting. The charge drops to indicate the speed setting at 25 kmH.

When connecting the SpeedFun chip to an eBike you will find connectors colored to make installation very simple. We have prepared detailed instructions and videos to make installation easy for you. Disassembly of our tuning chip is just as easy. If you have any troubles with installation or disassembly, do not hesitate to contact us.

Connect the Mission Control app ONLY when the tuning device is DEACTIVATED If the connection is made with tuning device ACTIVATED the app RECORDS THE TAMPERING
