SpeedFun Furious Evo easy+ for Specialized Turbo Levo SL, Kenevo SL, Creo SL, Como SL and Vado SL (SL 1.1, SL 1.2 motors)

The function of the Furious Evo tuning device for Mahle Specialized SL 1.1 and Turbo SL 1.2 motors (Specialized Turbo Kenevo SL, Turbo Levo SL, Turbo Creo SL, Turbo Vado SL, Turbo Como SL and Turbo Vado SL) is to electronically manipulate the rotation speed of the rear wheel and to communicate to the motor a speed always lower than 25 KmH in order to obtain a very high real speed with the motor active. The maximum speed limit will therefore be dictated by the power of the motor added to the power expressed by one’s legs.

When the tuning device is active, since it has no communication with the display, it will show halved data on the display starting from a certain threshold.

SpeedFun Furious Evo can be activated and deactivated at will and maintains the setting even after the e-bike is switched off. It can be installed on Specialized e-bikes with Mahle Specialized SL 1.1 motor (35Nm) and Turbo SL 1.2 (50Nm) mostly mounted on Turbo Kenevo SL, Turbo Levo SL, Turbo Creo SL, Turbo Vado SL, Turbo Como SL and Turbo Vado SL regardless of the type of display or command side of the e-bike.

The Furious Evo tuning device for Mahle Specialized SL 1.1 and Turbo SL 1.2 motor can be activated/deactivated with a very practical system (for further information consult the instructions) and does not require activation of the motor light output. The device is supplied plug and go ready to use, it can be installed very simply thanks to the original connectors with which no physical modification of the e-bike is required.

The tuning kit manipulates the speed signal without altering the motor's power relative to pedaling speed. This guarantees a smooth motor control without speed limit interruptions. Depending on a tuning kit, some determine when assistance stops, while others remove the restriction entirely for continuous support. However, the achievable speed mostly depends on the eBike model. Achievable speed can be calculated using a simple formula:

Speed = Cadence [rpm] * Wheel circumference [mm] * Front Chainring Teeth / Rear Chainring Teeth * 60 [min/h] / 1.000.000 [mm/km]

After installation, your tuning kit will be activated with the activation of your eBike. This tuning kit can be activated / deactivated also, but only by your choice, you do not need to do it everytime you turn on ebike.

IMPORTANT Activation and deactivation:
- Turn Off the ebike.
- Place the chain on the longest gear (the smallest rear sprocket).
- Position the left pedal at 11.00. From now on, do not turn the rear wheel.
- Turn On the ebike and wait for the complete check. Don't spin the rear wheel (not yet ..).
- Raise the rear wheel, give a strong pedal. Let the wheel spin over 30 km/h for a few seconds.
The system recognizes the acceleration and considers it as a command to activate or deactivate (cyclically) the speed release. Upon activation, the display (if present) shows the speed that passes from real to manipulated in the manner described above. When deactivated, the display shows the speed change from manipulated to real and the bike returns to its original condition.

SpeedFun Ribelle is a tuning for Specialized ebikes with SL 1.1 and SL 1.2 motors ONLY. Works with TCU, TCU Mastermind and TCD displays!

When connecting the SpeedFun chip to an eBike you will find connectors colored to make installation very simple. We have prepared detailed instructions and videos to make installation easy for you. Disassembly of our tuning chip is just as easy. If you have any troubles with installation or disassembly, do not hesitate to contact us.

Warranty does not cover damage resulting from eBike software updates. Remove the tuning kit before updating the software. Check with us first to ensure the kit is compatible with your updated eBike. We cannot guarantee that the kit will function the same after updates. Please exercise caution.
