IMPORTANT NOTE - Installing both BikeTrax and a Tuning kit?
In order to install BikeTrax on Gen3 Bosch motors - the only possible connection is via Display and Light connectors. Tuning kit needs a display connector as well. You can try to connect both the tuning kit and BikeTrax with a Y-cable to the display connection. But we cannot ensure that there is enough power supply given to support both modules, so You can try to implement both modules at Your own risk.
Which Bosch GPS Tracker do I need?
If you have Bosch e-bike with 2014-2019 year motor (with Gen 1-3), you will need Bosch Gen1-3.
If you have Bosch e-bike with 2021 year motor (with Gen 4), you will need Bosch Gen4.
If you have Bosch e-bike with 2022 year motor (with Gen 4 Smart System), you will need Bosch Gen4 Smart System.
Bosch Gen1-3 is made for the Bosch Gen 1-3 and gets connected to the display-cable of the bike.
Bosch Gen4 is made for the 4th Gen Bosch motors and gets connected to the "PowerPort". Only the 4th Generation owns this port.
Why do I need GPS Tracker Bosch?
The GPS Tracker Bosch from BikeTrax is currently the best GPS theft protection available for all e-bike owners.
The GPS tracker is installed invisibly in the motor housing.
Your routes are recorded and saved daily in the route diary, including distance, average and maximum speed.
The export takes place as a gpx file. You can use your user profile on any number of devices.
The GPS tracker is integrated into the EU-wide data network with the integrated SIM card. You can see the location coordinates of your e-bike at any time throughout the EU, including Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Iceland and Norway!

Product Features
The GPS tracker is connected to the battery of your e-bike to ensure the power supply. When the e-bike battery is switched off or removed, the GPS Tracker additional battery continues to supply the energy required for monitoring.
The maximum runtime is 14hours for active GPS tracking and up to 3 weeks for stand-by operation. The additional battery is recharged immediately after switching on your e-bike. It takes approximately 1.5 hours to charge from 0 to 100%.
The recorded routes allow detailed route management and optimal vehicle utilization for vehicle fleets of all kinds. The theft protection with alarm function protects every single fleet vehicle anytime and anywhere.
The transmission of the GPS data is realized via GPRS and GSM. For the first year, BikeTrax pays the data transmission fees. After the first free year has expired, the cost of data transmission is a low € 3.95 per month.
There is no contract binding!
Data usage can also be conveniently activated on a monthly basis using the free smartphone app. If you only want to use the GPS Tracker Bosch in the summer months, you can do it simply by swiping your finger.
GPS tracker web platform
On the GPS web platform you can easily control and monitor GPS tracking using a PC, laptop or notebook. You get all the information about the location of your e-bike in real time and can view the routes traveled.
Assembly
You will receive the detailed assembly instructions with your GPS tracker order. This is done for safety-related reasons in order to limit the widespread use of technical methods for potential bicycle thieves.
