SpeedBox B.Cyclo is a unique yet unobtrusive Bluetooth cycling computer that records your ride without you even noticing it. B.Cyclo has a non-volatile memory so even if the battery runs out, you will never lose your data such as total distance, time, average and maximum speed. The battery life on a single charge is approximately 80 hours of riding with a constant Bluetooth access to the SpeedBox App.
To use the full potential of the SpeedBox B.Cyclo, connect to it via the SpeedBox App on your iOS or Android smartphone. You will not only see your riding data (actual speed, travelled distance, riding time, average and maximum speed) on a large, easy-to-read display, but you will also be able to save your trips and check your daily/weekly/monthly/annual statistics of the travelled time and distance. And even if you don’t pair the B.Cyclo with your phone while riding, the data (travelled distance, time, average and maximum speed) will still be safely stored and saved.
First Activation
Once unpacked, SpeedBox B.Cyclo is in a deep sleep mode and needs to be woken up by connecting to a power adapter with USB output using the included cable.
Connecting to B.Cyclo
Before each pairing with the phone, activate the B.Cyclo by turning the wheel 360°. Then select the device from the list in the SpeedBox App.
Power Saving Mode
If the wheels are turning and you didn’t pair the B.Cyclo with your phone, the Bluetooth will be turned off after 10 seconds for energy saving reasons. Total distance, time, average and maximum speed are still saved and recorded. To pair the B.Cyclo with your phone, it is then necessary to stop the bike for approximately 10 seconds.
Charging the Battery
Even if the battery runs out completely, you won’t lose the trip data. Nevertheless, it is advisable to recharge it in time to ensure permanent data recording. SpeedBox B.Cyclo is charged using a standard power adapter with a USB output (5 V/0.5 A or more) and the included USB cable. To avoid disassembling the B.Cyclo each time you need to charge it, it is advised to use a power bank with a USB output or simply place the bike closer to the mains socket. Adapter and power bank are not included.
