SpeedFun Ribelle for Yamaha Booster Easy (PW-S2, Display A)

SpeedFun Ribelle is a tuning for Yamaha Booster Easy that allows you to increase the speed of the ebike by removing the block set at 25 kmH. With SpeedFun Ribelle, active assistance is increased up to speeds that can exceed 60 kmH, making full use of the motor’s potential.

This speed release device is compatible only and exclusively on Yamaha Booster Easy ebikes equipped with PW-S2 motor and Yamaha display A “sideswitch” display.

The tuning device Ribelle for Yamaha Booster Easy ebikes shows all real data on the display/app. It can be activated or deactivated by pressing a simple sequence of keys and the activation/deactivation of the device is indicated on the display. This tuning is equipped with original connectors for quick and easy installation.

The tuning kit manipulates the speed signal without altering the motor's power relative to pedaling speed. This guarantees a smooth motor control without speed limit interruptions. Depending on a tuning kit, some determine when assistance stops, while others remove the restriction entirely for continuous support. However, the achievable speed mostly depends on the eBike model. Achievable speed can be calculated using a simple formula:

Speed = Cadence [rpm] * Wheel circumference [mm] * Front Chainring Teeth / Rear Chainring Teeth * 60 [min/h] / 1.000.000 [mm/km]

After installation, your tuning kit will be activated with the activation of your eBike. This tuning kit can be activated / deactivated also, but only by your choice, you do not need to do it everytime you turn on ebike.

IMPORTANT Activation and deactivation:
Activating and deactivating the speed unlock is achieved by typing the following key sequence: light, light.
To confirm activation, the figure 50 appears briefly on the display. (the motor assists beyond 50)
To confirm deactivation, the figure 25 appears briefly on the display (the motor assists up to 25)

This speed release device is compatible only and exclusively with Yamaha Booster Easy ebikes equipped with Yamaha PW-S2 motor and Yamaha display/control A “sideswitch”.

When connecting the SpeedFun chip to an eBike you will find connectors colored to make installation very simple. We have prepared detailed instructions and videos to make installation easy for you. Disassembly of our tuning chip is just as easy. If you have any troubles with installation or disassembly, do not hesitate to contact us.

Warranty does not cover damage resulting from eBike software updates. Remove the tuning kit before updating the software. Check with us first to ensure the kit is compatible with your updated eBike. We cannot guarantee that the kit will function the same after updates. Please exercise caution.
