What is the SpeedFun Ribelle ebike tuning kit for TQ HPR50? SpeedFun Ribelle is a tuning for ebikes with TQ HPR50 motor that allows you to increase the speed of the ebike by removing the block set at 25 kmH. With SpeedFun Ribelle, active assistance is increased up to speeds that can exceed 60 kmH (info), making full use of the mtors potential.

This speed release device for ebikes is designed for TQ HPR50 motor regardless of the display installed on the ebike. This system is mostly used on Trek, Pinarello, BMC, Simplon, Mondraker, Fantic brand ebikes and many others.

The SpeedFun Ribelle ebike tuning shows all the real data on the display/app and can be activated or deactivated by pressing a simple sequence of buttons directly from the ebike handlebar control or on display. The activation and deactivation of the device is indicated on the display. The release device is supplied with original connectors for quick and easy installation.

SpeedFun Ribelle for TQ HPR50 is available in two versions:

– Version for ebikes with control on the handlebars: compatible only and exclusively with ebikes equipped with a control to select the level of assistance on the handlebars
– Version for ebikes without control on the handlebar: compatible only and exclusively with ebikes without control to select the level of assistance on the handlebar (assistance selection only from HPR Display)

The tuning kit manipulates the speed signal without altering the motor's power relative to pedaling speed. This guarantees a smooth motor control without speed limit interruptions. Depending on a tuning kit, some determine when assistance stops, while others remove the restriction entirely for continuous support. However, the achievable speed mostly depends on the eBike model. Achievable speed can be calculated using a simple formula:

Speed = Cadence [rpm] * Wheel circumference [mm] * Front Chainring Teeth / Rear Chainring Teeth * 60 [min/h] / 1.000.000 [mm/km]

After installation, your tuning kit will be activated with the activation of your eBike. This tuning kit can be activated / deactivated also, but only by your choice, you do not need to do it everytime you turn on ebike.

IMPORTANT Activation and deactivation:
To activate or deactivate motor support above 25 km/h it is necessary to type a different sequence depending on the variant of Ribelle device installed.

With Ribelle for Ebike WITH Control on the Handlebar: type the key sequence: - + - + (minus, plus, minus, plus).

With Ribelle for Ebike WITHOUT Control on the Handlebar: select assistance OFF and then UP, UP, UP.

If the procedure is successful, the following animation will be displayed on the speedometer:
- If the speedometer rises from 1.1 km/h to 9.0 km/h, Ribelle is activated and the motor supports you even above 25 km/h.
- If the speedometer drops from 9.0 km/h to 1.0 km/h, Ribelle is deactivated and the motor supports you up to 25 km/h.

When connecting the SpeedFun chip to an eBike you will find connectors colored to make installation very simple. We have prepared detailed instructions and videos to make installation easy for you.
