SpeedFun Ribelle for TQ HPR 120S

SpeedFun RIBELLE is an electronic and intelligent e-bike tuning kit that does not require any external power supply.

It is designed for the TQ HPR 120S motors used on the Haibike Flyon to circumvent the speed block at 25 kmH, allowing to increase its active assistance up to speeds that can exceed 60 KmH by fully exploiting the potential of the TQ HPR 120S motor.

SpeedFun Ribelle shows all the real data on the display.

SpeedFun Ribbele is equipped with a self-learning system to memorize all the parameters of the e-bike on which it is mounted. Therefore, no settings are required.

Speedup Ribbele is mounted in a very simple way by placing it between the speed sensor and the motor and between the display and the motor using original connectors that do not alter the characteristics of electrical resistance and water tightness.

SpeedFun Ribbele can be activated and deactivated with a sequence of keys (see instructions). Animated feedback is shown on the display whenever the on or off status is changed.

The tuning kit manipulates the speed signal without altering the motor's power relative to pedaling speed. This guarantees a smooth motor control without speed limit interruptions. Depending on a tuning kit, some determine when assistance stops, while others remove the restriction entirely for continuous support. However, the achievable speed mostly depends on the eBike model. Achievable speed can be calculated using a simple formula:

Speed = Cadence [rpm] * Wheel circumference [mm] * Front Chainring Teeth / Rear Chainring Teeth * 60 [min/h] / 1.000.000 [mm/km]

After installation, your tuning kit will be activated with the activation of your eBike. This tuning kit can be activated / deactivated also, but only by your choice, you do not need to do it everytime you turn on ebike.

IMPORTANT Activation and deactivation:
It is activated by alternately inserting a sequence on the lever normally used to modulate the assistance level: Down - Up - Down - Up (Left - Right - Left - Right). An animation of the battery levels then appears on the display. A descending sequence indicates that the speed is limited to 25 km/h (as per the original setting), while an ascending sequence indicates that the speed is unlocked.

When connecting the SpeedFun chip to an eBike you will find connectors colored to make installation very simple. We have prepared detailed instructions and videos to make installation easy for you. Disassembly of our tuning chip is just as easy. If you have any troubles with installation or disassembly, do not hesitate to contact us.

Warranty does not cover damage resulting from eBike software updates. Remove the tuning kit before updating the software. Check with us first to ensure the kit is compatible with your updated eBike. We cannot guarantee that the kit will function the same after updates. Please exercise caution.
