SpeedFun Furious Evo for Yamaha PW, PW-X, PW-X2, PW-SE, PW-TE, PW-ST, PW-CE and PW-C2

The function of the Furious Evo tuning device for Yamaha is to electronically manipulate the rotation speed of the rear wheel and to communicate to the motor a speed always lower than 25 KmH in order to obtain a real speed with very high active motor. The maximum speed limit will therefore be dictated by the power of the motor added to the power expressed by one’s legs

When the tuning device is active, having no communication with the display, it will show the altered data on the display starting from a certain threshold.

The Furious evo speed release device for Yamaha is compatible with Yamaha PW, PW-X, PW-X2, PW-SE, PW-TE, PW-ST, PW-CE and PW-C2 motor mostly installed on Haibike, Ghost ebikes , Lapierre, MBK, Winora, Gitane, Bixs, Rockrider (Decathlon) and many others regardless of the type of display or lateral control of the ebike.

The Furiosu Evo tuning device for Yamaha can be activated/deactivated by simply pressing the ebike’s light button. If the ebike already has the lights connected to the light output, or if it is not possible to use it, it will still be possible to activate/deactivate the tuning with a very practical system (for more information see the instructions).

The device is supplied plug and go ready to use and is installed in a very simple way thanks to the original connectors with which no physical modification of the ebike is necessary.

The tuning kit manipulates the speed signal without altering the motor's power relative to pedaling speed. This guarantees a smooth motor control without speed limit interruptions. Depending on a tuning kit, some determine when assistance stops, while others remove the restriction entirely for continuous support. However, the achievable speed mostly depends on the eBike model. Achievable speed can be calculated using a simple formula:

Speed = Cadence [rpm] * Wheel circumference [mm] * Front Chainring Teeth / Rear Chainring Teeth * 60 [min/h] / 1.000.000 [mm/km]

After installation, your tuning kit will be activated with the activation of your eBike. This tuning kit can be activated / deactivated also, but only by your choice, you do not need to do it everytime you turn on ebike.

IMPORTANT Activation and deactivation:
- Turn off the ebike.
- Place the chain on the longest gear (the smallest rear sprocket).
- Position the left pedal at 11.00. From now on, do not turn the rear wheel.
- Turn on the ebike and wait for the complete check. Don't spin the rear wheel (not yet).
- Lift the rear wheel off the seat or frame. Don't spin the rear wheel (not yet).
- Give a strong pedal stroke (only one). Let the wheel spin over 30 km / h for a few seconds.
The system recognizes the rotation acceleration and interprets it as a command to activate or deactivate cyclically) the speed release. Upon activation, the display (if present) shows the speed that passes from real to manipulated in the manner described above. When deactivated, the speed changes from manipulated to real on the display and the bike returns to its original condition.

Compatible with Yamaha PW, PW-X, PW-X2, PW-SE, PW-TE, PW-ST, PW-CE and PW-C2 motors mostly mounted on Haibike, Yamaha, Ghost, Lapierre, MBK, Winora, Gitane, Bixs, Rockrider (Decathlon) and many more ebikes.

IMPORTANT:This device is not compatible with Yamaha brand e-bikes (e.g. Yamaha Moro, CrossCore, Booster, Wabash etc.)

When connecting the SpeedFun chip to an eBike you will find connectors colored to make installation very simple. We have prepared detailed instructions and videos to make installation easy for you. Warranty does not cover damage resulting from eBike software updates. Remove the tuning kit before updating the software. Check with us first to ensure the kit is compatible with your updated eBike. We cannot guarantee that the kit will function the same after updates. Please exercise caution.
