SpeedFun Furious Evo for Bosch (not Bosch Smart System)

The function of the Furious Evo tuning kit for Bosch is to electronically manipulate the rotation speed of the rear wheel and to communicate to the motor a speed always lower than 25 KmH, this allows to obtain a real speed with a very high active motor. The maximum speed limit is given by the power of the motor added to the power expressed by one’s legs.

When the device is active, the display will show the exact speed up to about 20 KmH approx, beyond which a manipulated speed will always be shown below 25 KmH.

Speedup Furious Evo can be activated and deactivated and maintains the setting even after the ebike is turned off. It can be installed on e-bikes with any type of display or side control as well as on e-bikes without a display.

The new technology of this tuning module for Bosch does not require the activation of the motor light output or interventions with diagnostics or apps. It is supplied plug and go ready to use and installs in a very simple way thanks to the connectors with which no physical modification of the ebike is necessary.

The tuning kit manipulates the speed signal without altering the motor's power relative to pedaling speed. This guarantees a smooth motor control without speed limit interruptions. Depending on a tuning kit, some determine when assistance stops, while others remove the restriction entirely for continuous support. However, the achievable speed mostly depends on the eBike model. Achievable speed can be calculated using a simple formula:

Speed = Cadence [rpm] * Wheel circumference [mm] * Front Chainring Teeth / Rear Chainring Teeth * 60 [min/h] / 1.000.000 [mm/km]

After installation, your tuning kit will be activated with the activation of your eBike. This tuning kit can be activated / deactivated also, but only by your choice, you do not need to do it everytime you turn on ebike.

IMPORTANT Activation and deactivation:
- Turn off the ebike.
- Place the chain on the longest gear (the smallest rear sprocket).
- Position the left pedal at 11.00. From now on, do not turn the rear wheel.
- Turn on the ebike and wait for the complete check. Don't spin the rear wheel (not yet).
- Lift the rear wheel off the seat or frame. Don't spin the rear wheel (not yet).
- Give a strong pedal stroke (only one). Let the wheel spin over 30 km / h for a few seconds.
The system recognizes the rotation acceleration and interprets it as a command to activate or deactivate cyclically) the speed release. Upon activation, the display (if present) shows the speed that passes from real to manipulated in the manner described above. When deactivated, the speed changes from manipulated to real on the display and the bike returns to its original condition.

This tuning kit is compatible with Intuvia, Purion, Nyon, Kiox, Cobi and Smart Hub displays and can be installed on Bosch Gen. 1 (Bosch Classic), Gen. 2 (Active, Performance and Performance CX 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 and 2020), Gen. 3 (Active Line, Active Line Plus 2018, 2019 and 2020) and Gen. 4 (Performance CX and Performance Line 2020 and 2021).

Not compatible with Bosch Smart System

When connecting the SpeedFun chip to an eBike you will find connectors colored to make installation very simple. We have prepared detailed instructions and videos to make installation easy for you. Disassembly of our tuning chip is just as easy. If you have any troubles with installation or disassembly, do not hesitate to contact us.

Warranty does not cover damage resulting from eBike software updates. Remove the tuning kit before updating the software. Check with us first to ensure the kit is compatible with your updated eBike. We cannot guarantee that the kit will function the same after updates. Please exercise caution.
