Main Product Information

This tuning kit enables you to deactivate the speed limiter of your e-bike. When in use, the actual speed of 18 km/h will appear on your display. Then the speed indicator gets stabilized and keeps on showing the same value even at higher speeds.

SpeedBox 1.0 for Brose Specialized stays active after being installed in your bike, so you don’t have to worry about turning it on and off.

When connecting Tuning Kit to an e-bike you will find connectors colored to make installation very simple. We have prepared detailed instructions and videos to make installation easy for you. Disassembly of our tuning kit is just as easy. If you have any troubles with installation or disassembly, do not hesitate to contact us. If you are planning to install Speedbox on a brand-new bike, make sure you ride it for at least 0.6 miles (1 km) before the tuning kit is activated.

The manufacturer takes no responsibility for damages resulting from the use SpeedBox products. Electric bikes equipped with SpeedBox products are not allowed to be used on public roads, cycling paths and public places. Electric bikes equipped with SpeedBox products can be used exclusively on private property and entirely at one’s own risk.

The use of SpeedBox may void the warranty of your ebike.

We strongly recommend using other safety features and protective gear to prevent injuries in higher speeds.

I installed the device and in practical terms the result was good. The bike continued to produce power at higher speeds, But the speed indicated on my Garmin Edge 540 was hugely understated! Have I installed correctly. I followed the directions provided but I did not install the IOS app, do I need to do that?

Works amazingly well and the MPH reads reasonably accurately as well as removing the manufacturer restrictions, my only criticism is the user and install instructions could dramatically improve. Overall an amazing well engineered product.

Ottimo prodotto però.....

Il dispositivo sembra funzionare bene peccato che per poter cambiare il suo settaggio bisogna scaricare una applicazione che sembra essere a pagamento. Con quello che costa il prodotto non mi sembra molto corretto.

To be honest I’m not sure about this kit. On the first kit I bought, the magnet wheel disintegrated after about 6 months use. To give them their due, Two-wheel Empire gave me a full replacement kit for half-price. On the first kit I bought, the magnet wheel disintegrated after about 6 months use. To give them their due, Two-wheel Empire gave me a full replacement kit for half-price. However, the wheel has also disintegrated on the replacement kit after another 6 months use whilst out on a ride. I have now purchased just the replacement wheel as the casing seems robust enough, however I”m not sure if these planet wheels are up to the job. I’m fully expecting it to fail again, which is a pity because the kit transforms the ride experience. I wonder if there is a better material that these wheels can be manufactured from - is it aluminium or some sort of 3D-printed additive metal? Either way, it’s not up to the job :(
